Highlights
2 weeks ago we visited the annual classic motor show Retromobile in Paris. The event is a gathering place for everyone who loves classic cars and memorabilia. Each year it’s the place to be to see old friends and fellow collectors from all over the world. Fortunately we also had the opportunity to acquire some new items for the collection which we are quite happy about.
Auto Avio Costruzione machine brochure
The first item is one of the Auto Avio Costruzione machine tool brochures. They were printed in the early forties. There are more types of these brochures as each machine had its own brochure. We are still looking for others as you can see in the ‘Looking For’ section on page 3 and 4 (http://www.ferraricollection.eu/looking.php?page=4).
Should you have any more information, feel free to contact me.

Auto Avio Costruzione machine manual
The second item I’d like to show is another Auto Avio Costruzione item. It’s a manual for one of the Auto Avio machines. As you can see the condition is pristine which we are very happy about. Should you have any more information concerning this kind of items, please contact me.

POSTCARD FERRARI 375 Millemiglia 1953
.jpg)
375 MM on the front
We recently found this postcard at an exhibition. On the front there is a Ferrari 375MM. The picture is the same as the one used on the cover of the brochure (which you can find in the Brochure section).
It was a pleasant surprise finding this postcard as we never even knew it existed.

Backside. Written and signed by Enzo Ferrari to Mr. Boano.
At the backside are greetings and a signature from Enzo Ferrari to Mr. Mario Boano (from Carrozzeria Boano). It was sent on the 28th December in 1953.
Quite strange about this postcard is the fact that its front is glossy like a photocard while the back clearly is a postcard. Interesting, since some of the earlier "postcards" also had the glossy front but had nothing at the back but a small text written with a typewriter.
Should you have any information on this postcard or have a similar one, please contact me.

I recently found this rare menu. I think it was printed in 1934.
The logo on the cover is the same as the one on the cover of the "Il Quarto Anno di Corse" yearbook.
I believe this dinner was held by Enzo for his collaborators at the end of the year.
dimensions: 206 x 276mm
pages: 4
language: Italian
